Jammu: A woman was killed while another sustained injuries on Tuesday when a wall of an under construction house collapsed in Sarwal area here in this winter capital.
Police said the woman killed in the wall collapse was a labourer, who was buried under the debris.
Locals immediately started rescue efforts but Sumitra Mahant a resident of Chhattisgarh died in the incident. Mahant was staying at Vikas Nagar in Sarwal.
A police probe is underway.
