SRINAGAR: Three matches of the JKFA Khyber Premier Division League 2021 were played on Wednesday at Synthetic Turf TRC here.
In the first match of the day, J&K Police XI played a 2-2 draw with Real Kashmir FC (Reserves). Real Kashmir took the lead in the 15th minute through Mujtaba. The RKFC team then doubled the lead in the 32nd minute through Samuel. J&K Police, however, pulled a goal back in the 36th minute through Nainjot.
After the half time score of 2-1 the J&K Police XI came out in the second half of the match with a mission. The Police team brought the match on level terms through a goal by Hanan Fayaz. At final whistle the score was 2-2.
The second match of the Premier Division was played between Ali Jana FC and J&K Bank Academy. The match ended in a 0-0 draw, with the defenders and goalies on either side performing brilliantly.
The third and final match of the day was played between Downtown Heroes FC and Kashmir Maharaja FC. The Heroes won the game 2-0 and both the goals came in the second half of the match. Ubaid scored the first in 44th minute, while Faisal scored the second goal in the 60th minute.
Meanwhile, over in Srinagar A-Division League 2021, two matches of the second stage round were played at Gindun Ground Rajbagh here.
The first match, between Yahya Warse FC and Real Cosmos FC, was won by Yahya Warse FC 3-0. while the second match played between Haroon FC and Alamdar FC, was won 2-0 by Haroon FC.
