Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday declared “much-awaited” CCTNS project of J&K Police “Go-Live” and launched “JK eCOP” Mobile App.
“These citizen-centric technological interventions are aimed at creating a comprehensive, integrated system enhancing the efficiency, effective policing at all levels.”
CCTNS will provide multiple channels by simplifying process to access services from police, he said in a tweet.
“All mandatory Citizen Services made available through CCTNS Citizen Portal https://jkpoliceeservices.gov.in. About 222 Police Stations & 100 Higher Offices have been covered under CCTNS till date,” he said, adding, “JK eCOP” Mobile App will provide all police-related public services. The App has been developed keeping in mind the needs of the public as well as smooth functioning of the Police department. Public can also register complaints, share information with the police.”
