Players asked to register before Oct. 19
SRINAGAR: Judo Association of Jammu & Kashmir is all set to organise Srinagar District Judo Championship from October 20 to 21, 2021 at Indoor Sports Hall, Polo Ground here.
All those players desirous to take part in the championship have been asked to report to their concerned coaches along with Date of Birth certificate/ Adhaar proof on or before October 19.
The Championship will be held under the aegis of J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association.
According to the statement issued by Judo Association of J&K, the Srinagar District Judo Championship is open for Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior and Senior judokas both boys and girls. One Gold, One Silver, two Bronze medals in each category along with merit certificates will be awarded to winners, participation certificates will be awarded to rest of the participants.
Further, the selected judokas will take part in the JK UT Judo Championship and forthcoming final trials for Sub-Junior and Cadet National Judo Championship which is going to be held at Kharar, Punjab from November 7 to November 13, 2021.
