Srinagar- A top commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) Sham Sofi was killed in an encounter with government forces at Tilwani Mohalla Waggad in Tral area of Awantipora in south Kashmir on Wednesday.
Kashmir Zone Police quoting IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar wrote on its official twitter handle;
#Encounter has started at Tilwani Mohalla Waggad in #Tral area of #Awantipora. Police & Security Forces are on the job. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice
