Srinagar- An encounter broke out between government forces and militants in Feripora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday hours after three militants were killed in an another encounter in the district.
Kashmir Zone Police wrote on its official twitter handle;
#Encounter has started at Feeripora area of #Shopian. Police & Security Forces are on the job. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice

Pertinently, this is the second encounter in Shopian district since yesterday. Earlier three militants were killed in an overnight encounter in Tulran, Imamsahab area of Shopian.
