SRINAGAR: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has decided to field Molvi Imran Raza Ansari son of late Molvi Iftikhar Ansari from Pattan Assembly constituency.
Aabid Ansari, younger brother of late Shia leader, who was earlier slated for Pattan after the demise of Molvi Iftikhar, has been shifted to Zadibal constituency in Srinagar. PDP had nominated Molvi Imran earlier for Zadibal.
Announcing these decisions here today a party spokesman said these minor changes were necessitated by the demise of senior party leader Molvi Iftikhar who was the party candidate and sitting MLA from Pattan constituency in Baramulla district.
