Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir reported on Thursday 110 fresh cases of novel coronavirus while 153 more patients have recovered from the deadly infection in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
Officials said that 84 new cases of Covid-19 were reported from Kashmir Valley and the remaining 26 from Jammu division, taking the total number of people infected since the outbreak of pandemic last year in J&K to 329430.
Giving district-wise details, officials said, Srinagar reported a maximum of 45 cases followed by Baramulla with15, Budgam 7, Anantnag and Bandipora 5 each Ganderbal 4, Kupwara 2, and Kulgam one new case of coronavirus. No fresh case was detected in the twin districts of Pulwama and Shopian in south Kashmir.
Moreover, the officials said that 153 more patients have recovered—26 from Jammu Division and 127 from Kashmir.
There was no death due to the virus for the third day in a row. So far 4422—2173 in Jammu and 2249 in Kashmir have succumbed to the virus.
