SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Football Association on Tuesday announced the fixtures list for the much-awaited Premier Division Football League 2021 here.
Scheduled to begin from October 1 at Synthetic Turf TRC, the Valley’s top footballing tier will witness 15 teams battle it out for the ultimate prize.
On October 1, the inaugural match of Khyber Premier Division League 2021 will be played between Downtown Heroes FC and J&K Bank Football Academy at 4:00 PM.
On October 2, J&K Forest XI will go head to head against Ali Jana FC at 1:30 PM. While J&K’s football heavyweights, J&K Bank FC will play Food & Supplies XI the same day at 4:00 PM.
The teams have been divided into two pools, which include:
Pool A: Downtown Heroes FC, Ali Jana FC, Real Kashmir (Reserves), J&K Police XI, Kashmir Maharaja FC, AG’s XI, J&K Forest XI, and J&K Bank Academy.
Pool B: J&K Bank FC, Kashmir Avengers FC, JK SPDC XI, Iqbal Sports FC, ARCO FC, Sports Council Football Academy, and Food & Supplies XI.
According to the fixtures list, a total of 11 matches will be played in the first round of the League that will last till October 6.
“All the matches of the Tournament will be telecast live on ANN News (TV channel) and their social media network with Frisk Film Productions,” the Association had earlier revealed.
