Srinagar- Seven days after a nine-year-old boy was mauled to death, a leopard cub was caught alive by Wildlife authorities on Friday morning at Dooru Sebdan area in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
An official said that a leopard was spotted in the area following which the searches were intensified accordingly.
He said that after strenuous efforts, the leopard cub was caught alive on Friday morning, according to news agency KNO.
He said that the leopard was captured at the place, located close to the village where a nine-year-old boy was mauled to death a week before.
He said that search is continuing from the last eleven days and staff has been deployed at every hotspot to catch the animal, who mauled the boy to death, he said.
