Budgam– A man was injured after being hit by a bullet during a cordon and search operation in Khag area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday afternoon.
Reports said that the man identified as Bilal Ahmad rather son of Ghulam Mohammad Rather a resident of Chairhara Khag was injured after being hit by a bullet in his leg, according to news agency KNO.
They said that the man was shifted to Khag hospital and is stable, while investigation has been stated.
Earlier a joint team of army’s 62RR and SOG cordoned off Drang Khag forests and started searches there.
