SRINAGAR: In the ongoing DFA Srinagar Annual League Football Tournament 2021, four matches were played on Monday here.
Two matches of the Super Division league took place at the Synthetic Ground, TRC.
In the first match Towheed FC defeated Qamarwari FC by 2 goals to 0.
After a 0-0 first half score, Towheed FC came out strong in the second half and took the lead through Unaid. Towheed FC then doubled their lead through Hazik in the 55th minute to take tie out of Qamarwari FC’s reach.
In the second Super Division match, IFC Kashmir took on FC Views. The match ended in favour of IFC team as they managed to score the only goal of the match in the 5th minute through Ishfaq Bashir. FC Views tried their best to level the game but failed.
In the ‘A’ Division, being played at the Gindun Ground, Rajbagh, the first match was played between Spartans FC and Kashmir Star FC.
The Spartans won the match 3-0. Khawar scored two goals, while Moomin scored one goal for them.
The second match was played between Yahya Warse FC and Eleven Star FC.
Yahya Warse FC won the game 2-0. Umer Lone and Riyaz Khan were the scorers.
