Srinagar: A youth was killed and a woman injured on Monday when lightning struck them in a paddy field in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
30-year-old Gulzar Ahmad Khan and Shakeela Banu were working in a paddy field when the lightning struck the village Panchas of the district on Monday evening, reports said.
The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. However, Khan succumbed to his injuries while the woman is currently under treatment, the reports said.
