Srinagar- A family of four members was rendered homeless after their houseboat sank in the river Jhelum at Rajbagh Ghat late last night.
Owner of houseboat HB Delhi, Abdul Khaliq Guru said the houseboat sank all of a sudden last night and it has suffered extensive damage, according to news agency KNO.
He claimed that the houseboat has suffered damage of Rs 50 lakh approximately and appealed to the government to provide compensation.
