SRINAGAR: DFA Srinagar Annual League Football Tournament 2021continued on Saturday with 4 matches played.
In Super Division League, being played at the Synthetic Turf, TRC, Real Kashmir FC (U18) went head to head against Syed Tajuddin FC in the first match of the day.
Syed Tajuddin took the lead in 10th minute of the game through Shoaib. The young RKFC squad tried to get back into the match but couldn’t convert their chances. The 1-0 scoreline stayed the same until the 63rd minute of the second half when Syed Tajuddin doubled its lead. The match ended 2-0 in favour of Syed Tajuddin FC.
The second match of the Super Division was played between Court Road FC and Galaxy FC.
The match remained goalless in the first half even though both teams had chances to take the lead. However, in the second half, Court Road FC managed to take the lead in the 70th minute through Burhan. Galaxy FC players tried to look for an equaliser but couldn’t succeed.
The match ended 1-0 in favour of Court Road FC.
In the ‘A’ Division being played at Gindun Ground Rajbagh, Srinagar, two matchs were played on Saturday.
In the first match played between Mahjoor United FC and Rising Star FC, Mehjoor United won 3-0. Yamin scored two goals & Sahil one goal for Mehjoor United FC.
In the second match, Sevenstar Football Academy defeated Nadurgund FC 5-1. Inayat and Afreen scored two goals each, Shafqat scored one goal for Sevenstar Football Academy. Whille for Nadurgund FC, Mudabar scored the solitary goal.
It is pertinent to mention that the top most football league of the Valley, the Premier Division League, will start from September 27.
