JAMMU: The daughter of Director General of Police (DGP) was arrested on Thursday for negligent driving after the death of a retired government servant allegedly by the car driven by her.
According to a police spokesperson, DGP K Rajindra Kumar’s daughter Pooja has been arrested and the Maruti SX4 car No. JK02BA 4112 is seized.
The deceased identified as Inderjeet Pandha was walking along the roadside when the car hit him near Rehari Chungi area. He was immediately shifted to the hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
