Srinagar: The Coaching Centres Association (CCA) of Kashmir has asked all of its constituent members to provide free coaching to flood affected students in order to save their academic years.
The association has expressed its concern over the loss of books, certificates and other study material of the students. The floods have dealt a blow to the career of thousands of students as they has loss everything right from their schools to houses to their study material, said G N Var, chairman CCA, adding that it is an immense loss which is putting the career of students at stake.
The association has asked all of its members to help the student community in this crisis situation. We have asked all of our coaching centres to make arrangements for providing free crash course in various streams for the flood affected students, said Var. They have loss so many academic days and this initiative hopefully will provide some sort of compensation.
