SRINAGAR:- In connection with ensuing Urs of Hazrat Shah-i-Hamdan (RA), the Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar reviewed Urs arrangements at an officers meeting here today.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Director CAPD, officers of UEED, RTO, R&B, PHE, Police and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
Mr. Sagar directed the officers for ensuring adequate supply of essentials including Ration, electricity, portable drinking water besides adequate arrangements for parking and transport facilities. He also urged for maintaining cleanliness in and around the Shrine of Hazrat Shah-i-Hamdan (RA) so that devotees do not face any difficulty during Urs days.
Mr Sagar also directed for establishing medical camp besides keeping Fire and Emergency vehicle stationed in the Shrine vicinity.
Mr. Sagar also took stock of relief measures being taken by the concerned departments for the flood victims of the area. He asked the officers to provide every help to the victims so that they are properly rehabilitated.
