SRINAGAR: Two matches of the ongoing DFA Srinagar Super Division Football League 2021 were played on Saturday at the Synthetic Turf, TRC here.
In the first match Syed Tajuddin FC defeated Towheed FC with a 3-0 scoreline. Aftab scored the first goal for Syed Tajuddin FC in the 5th minute, Lucky doubled the team’s lead in 32nd minute and Danish scored the last goal of the game in the 80th minute of the match.
In the second game between Safalo FC and Qamarwari FC, team Qamarwari won the match 2-1.
A fairly close encounter, Qamarwari’s Firdous gave his team the lead in the 20th minute of the match. The Safalo boys, however, tried their best to find the net but it was Qamarwari FC that doubled its lead through Faizan in the 26th minute.
Safalo FC managed to pull one back through Naveed in the dying moments of the match.
The match ended 2-1 in favour of Qamarwari FC.
The Super Division League is being organised by DFA Srinagar, under the aegis of Jammu & Kashmir Football Association and in collaboration with J&K Sports Council
