SRINAGAR: The OPD services at the G B Pant Hospital started yesterday with a hundred patients visiting the hospital for treatment.
According to Dr. Kaisar Ahmad, Head, Department of Pediatrics, about 100 patients were examined during the whole day yesterday. The OPD all be open from 10 am to 4 pm daily and other services all be added gradually after making support services operational.
Dr Kasier said that the hospital has suffered huge damages in the ground floor which includes X-Ray, Echo, USG machines and some laboratory equipments. He said that the services for emergencies and ort admissions are on round the clock at Kashmir Nursing Home while as the facility for new born babies have been started at Bone and joints hospital. He said that the hospital has resumed immunization programme and many babies were given the requisite vaccination.
