Srinagar: First time in a living memory, radio Kashmir turned mute for 5 days after its services were snapped owing to the floods. Radio Kashmir resumed services today from a make-shift camp. Services began on Thursday evening but snapped and only resumed this morning.
The services have been snapped since last Saturday. Radio Kashmir’s station was submerged and engineers and programme executives had to leave in a hurry. The main building of the Radio Kashmir is still submerged about 10-feet.
