NEW DELHI: Government on Saturday decided to slash petrol price by Rs 1.82 a litre. The new rate will come into effect from midnight tonight.
While the price of diesel has been hiked by 50 paise per litre.
The Modi government on Independence Day slashed the petrol price by Rs 2.18 a litre in New Delhi and between Rs 1.89 and Rs 2.36 in rest of the country as the crude oil prices fell to a 13-month low.
