Srinagar: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man on Monday was injured in a militant attack in Langate area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
According to reports, unidentified militants lobbed a grenade on a CRPF party in Langate area of Handwara on Monday that exploded with a bang. In the grenade attack, a CRPF man received splinter injuries. The injured paramilitary personnel, as per the reports, was removed to the nearby hospital for treatment.
Soon after the attack, reinforcements of CRPF and police reached the area and launched a search operation to nab the attackers, the reports said.
