Srinagar: Scores of Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association (NGFOA) Thursday staged a protest in Press Enclave Srinagar in support of their demands.
The protesters led by Nazir Ahmed Leharwal while highlighting their plight threatened to resolve their demands failing which they will be forced to choose the path of long term agitation.
The demands included removal of pay anomaly, enhancement of posts of RO, risk allowance, promotion avenues, change of designation of helpers and
regularization of daily rated workers engaged a decade ago.
The protestors dispersed peacefully after registering their protest.
