Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir recorded on Tuesday 107 fresh cases of novel coronavirus while no Covid-19 related death was reported from the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.
While 67 fresh cases of coronavirus were reported from Kashmir Valley, the remaining forty were detected from various parts of the Jammu division thus taking the total number of people infected since the outbreak of pandemic last year in J&K to 320866.
Giving district-wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 31 cases, Baramulla 7, Budgam 9, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 4, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 6, Shopian 1, Jammu 15, Udhampur 7, Rajouri 5, Doda 6, Samba 1, Kishtwar 2, Poonch 1 and Ramban 4 new cases of Covid-19. No fresh case of virus was reported from three districts of Reasi, Kathua and Kulgam.
Also, officials said, 183 more patients in last 24 hours have recovered— 68 from Jammu Division and 115 from Kashmir, taking the number of people who have recovered in J&K to 315367.
They said the number of mucormycosis (black fungus) cases stands at 35 in the UT as no fresh infection was reported.
