SRINAGAR: Police booked three WhatsApp group admins for airing rumours and fabricated information to the people.
Police has registered FIRs under section 66/IT Act bearing numbers 163/2014 in P S Budgam, 217/2014 in Police Station Baramulla and 198 /2014 in P S Pulwama and booked three WhatsApp group admins Javed Ahmad, Syed Tahir Bukhari and Raja Hilal from Budgam, Baramulla and Pulwama respectively for according to police airing rumours and fabricated information that could create disturbances and vitiate peace.
Investigation into various updates and posts that have surfaced on the WhatsApp and other social Networking sites is going on. More arrests are expected.
