Baramulla- A driver was killed while four others sustained injuries after a vehicle they were on board, skidded off road and fell into a deep gorge in Zamboorpatan village of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday morning.
Reports said that the vehicle – Expresso – bearing registration number JK-05J 3012, carrying passengers was on way towards Uri town, when the incident occurred. In the incident five persons suffered injuries.
A medical official said that the injured person namely Mohammad Ismail Taas (42), a resident of Zamboorpattan was received in critical conditions after being referred alongside four others from Mohura to Government Medical College Baramulla this morning, according to news agency GNS.
On administration of all possible treatment, the person couldn’t be however be saved, the official said.
Meanwhile the four injured passengers identified as Bader-ud-Din Taas, Mohammad Rafiq Bajad, Jameel Ahmad Bajad, Khadim Hussain and Gulsahan Bano are undergoing treatment at GMC Baramulla.
