Srinagar: Dispelling the rumours about the reopening of schools in Jammu and Kashmir, Secretary School Education Department Bishwajit Kumar Singh Tuesday said that the government has not taken any decision yet, about the reopening of schools in the region.
Bishwajit said although the department has proposed to reopen the schools from July 15, tentatively, the final decision will be taken by the government”.
He said that the final decision on the reopening of schools will be taken after discussing the pros and cons and after taking the expert opinion on the issue.
He said that the community classes will continue to run as long as the schools do not reopen. “Community classes have received a great response and they will go on till the final decision is taken.”
