Srinagar: Commissioner SMC Athar Aamir Khan Tuesday said that a show-cause notice will be served to those officials who would keep works pending on account of their concerned assignments particularly in not disposing off grievances on time.
He was speaking during a review meeting to check the status of various works under different schemes and different heads of accounts including Capex, 14 FC, AMRUT, SBM, Drainage.
The meeting was attended by Joint Commissioner Adm, Joint Commissioner Works, FA/ CAO, S.E Drainage, Health Officer SMC, Executive Engineer Right River Works, Executive Engineer Lef River Works, ADP Planning, Municipal Veterinary Officer, Chief Transport Officer, Chief Sanitation Officer, IT head and other Xen’s, AEE’s, JE’s and other officials.
Commissioner directed all the concerned wings present in the meeting that there should be no pending works on account of both online and offline grievances.
He also reviewed the progress of various works sub division wise.
On the occasion different components under AMRUT and water works division wing for smooth supply of water in Srinagar City were also reviewed.
Directions were passed to each wing to expedite with the remaining works and ensure to complete all the works from different wings in a time bound manner.
“Regarding financial aspects the Commissioner directed to dispose of the financial matters and clear payments constantly after the completion of codal formalities,” an SMC statement said.
He also reviewed the maintenance report of street lights restored and installed.
Besides this issuance of Online Birth and Death certification and grievance redressal in the Enforcement wing were also reviewed.
