Srinagar: A 12 year old girl has gone missing after venturing out from her house in Srinagar city three days ago.
The family members of Irfat Ara of Nai Sarak Haba Kadal Srinagar said that Irfat demanded Rs 10 from her mother to fetch chips packet from a nearby shop on August 4 but never returned home.
We lodged a missing report in Police Station Kral Khud but till date my daughter is still untraced, the mother of the missing girl said.
Station House Officer Kral Khud Police Station Mehraj Ahmed said that police have already launched a hunt to trace the missing girl. We in fact had called some suspects into police station for questioning but that proved a futile exercise. We are on job and hopefully we would trace her, he said.
