Srinagar: Even after the lapse of over five months since the vaccination drive against Covid-19 was started in J&K, around 14 percent of front line workers here are yet to get their first dose of vaccine.
As per the data available, in Srinagar of 61,033 front line workers, 42,128 have received the first jab while 24,180 have received both jabs.
“The percentage of front line workers who have received the first jab is 69.02 percent while 39.62 percent have received the second jab,” the data reveals.
In Kulgam ,100 percent have received the first jab and 63.97 percent have received the second jab. In Shopian, of 6,311, 76.03 percent received the first jab and 46.46 percent received the second jab. In Bandipora, of 11,076, 82.69 percent and 43.95 percent have received first and second jabs respectively. In Anantnag of 21,634 front line workers, 67.44 percent have received the first dose and 37.93 percent have received second dose and in Baramulla of 31,685 front line workers, 66.24 percent have received the first jab and 41.22 percent have received the second jab.
In Kupwara out of 18,748 front line workers, 75.96 percent have received the first jab and 46.18 percent have received the second jab. In Pulwama, of 17,832 workers 100.00 percent have received the first jab while 56.44 percent have received the second jab. In Ganderbal of 6,519 front line workers 97.56 percent have received first jab and 63.26 percent have received second jab and in Budgam of 23,745 workers 80.34 percent workers have received first jab while 51.91 percent have received second jab.
Similarly in Jammu, Kishtwar, Doda, Udhampur, Kuthua, Ramban, Samba, Rajouri, Poonch and Reasi 92.87 percent, 96.59 percent, 82.90 percent, 100 percent, 100 percent, 100 percent, 93.84 percent, 95.82 percent, 83.44 percent and 100 percent front line workers have received first jab while as 66.10 percent, 47.41 percent, 50.73 percent, 56.25 percent, 69.29 percent, 69.98 percent, 53.18 percent, 55.55 percent 48.46 percent and 64.13 percent have received second dose respectively.
In aggregate form, of 359,542 front line workers, 308,876 (85.91 percent) have received first jab and 184,685 (51.37 percent) have received the second jab respectively
