SRINAGAR: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammed Aijaz Asad Friday convened a meeting to review progress of work on major developmental projects in Srinagar.
Chief Planning Officer, Srinagar, Mohammed Yaseen lone, Assistant Commissioner Nazool, Sandeep Bali, Project Manager NHAI and other officers were present in the meeting.
The meeting held deliberations on status of acquisition of land for Rs 96 crore Ring Road project and the issues with regard to construction of Lasjan Flyover at National Highway bypass being executed at an estimated project cost Rs 101 crore.
On the occasion, the DC was apprised that the process of land acquisition has been almost completed and compensation stands already disbursed to concerned citizens.
The DC stressed upon the officers to work with added zeal and in coordinated manner so that the bottlenecks, if any, in the projects are removed to start physical work on ground without any further delay.
He directed the officers to complete the process of tag marking resuming all works suspended due to Covid-19 pandemic at the earliest to ensure all projects are completed within the set deadlines.
