Srinagar: Director Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Anand Jain on Monday rejected the claims that they conducted a raid at passport office Srinagar and stated that it was just a “routine joint surprise check.”
Earlier in a day, it was reported that a raid was conducted by ACB at passport office Srinagar.
However said that the ACB didn’t conduct any raid at passport office Srinagar today. “It was just a routine surprise check, which is being conducted in every department,” he said.
When contacted, Regional Passport Officer (RPO) Srinagar, B B Nagar questioned the ACB exercise today.
He said the ACB should have sought details and every details would have been shared with them within a shortest possible time
