A special vaccination drive to cover high-risk and vulnerable groups in the 18-45 age category began in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
The drive began from eight districts having a higher case count and COVID-19 positivity ratio, an official spokesman said.
The spokesman said the rollout began in Anantnag, Baramulla, Budgam and Srinagar districts of Kashmir, and Jammu, Kathua, Rajouri and Udhampur districts of Jammu.
Meanwhile, the Union Territory administration said that around 66 percent people above 45 years have been administered coronavirus vaccines in Jammu and Kashmir so far.
