Appeals LG Sinha to cancel his adjustment in the interest of public
Srinagar: The former legislator Nizamuddin Bhat on Saturday said that in utter disregard for service conduct rules and public interest, the health department has posted one doctor as medical superintendent of district hospital Bandipora despite his track record for alleged corruption and misuse of his position.
In a statement, Bhat said that the doctor has replaced one in a sudden move who was doing his best in the current emergencies in particular. “The replacement comes as a surprise to the general public and the dedicated serving doctors who have always been at the forefront.”
Bhat said that the new incumbent as MS is local and has had several controversial stints in various positions at the same hospital which he has abused and politicised often.
He said that the same doctor was also suspended and shifted in the fate of allegations, and remains under the shadow of his influence and long-arm.
Bhat has appealed to the Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha to cancel his adjustment at DH Bandipora in the interest of administration, patient care, public interest and the future of the fragile upcoming hospital.
