Srinagar – J&K Bank organised an awareness camp for public at cheki wattoo in Kulgam. The camp conducted by Financial Literacy and Credit Counseling centre (FLCC) Kulgam was attended by a large gathering of local residents from different walks of life.
Facilitator (FLCC) A R Hakeem spoke in detail about the schemes tailored by banks for development and upliftment of fruit growers, farmers. He explained the importance of opening and maintenance of accounts with the banks.
FLCC Camps at Dewsar Kulgam
Meanwhile, two more financial literacy camps were organised at Higher Secondary School Dewsar, Kulgam and at Qasba Dewsar.
FLCC Facilitator Abdul Rashid made the audience aware about the schemes tailored by the banks for development of agriculture and handicraft industry. People were made to understand about the importance of Kissan Credit Card and benefits of having account with the banks.
At Hr. Secondary School Dewsar the Facilitator urged the students to cultivate habits of saving by opening accounts with the Banks.
Principal of the school thanked the Bank for the camp.
Awareness Camp in Kupwara
The Bank organised awareness camp at Poshwari in Kupwara.
The camp was attended by locals including Sarpanch of the village, Panches and other senior citizens.
Facilitator FLCC Kupwara Mohammad Maqbool Shah welcomed the participants and apprised them about the concept and the purpose of such camps particularly about savings for ones prosperous and safe future.
He impressed upon the participants for opening saving or any other deposit account with the banks.
He apprised them about the procedure and benefits of Kissan Credit Cards and other schemes devised for the development of agriculture and other sectors of economy.
FLCC camps in Ganderbal
J&K Bank Lead District Office Ganderbal organised various camps in the district during the month. The awareness Camps were held at Dream Land Educational Institute Ganderbal, in Kangan , at Government High School Gagangir, Government High School Kullan and Higher Secondary School Gund wherein the Facilitator, FLCC A A Akhoon spoke in detail about all the Banking Schemes/ Products including Debit Card , Credit Card and different modes of transfer of funds.
Students were particularly informed about Education Loan, Laptop and Scooty Finance.
