Srinagar: Muhammed Ashraf Sehrai, chairman of Tehreek-e- Hurriyat was Tuesday shifted to GMC Jammu from Udhampur jail after his health deteriorated.
His son confirmed to a local news gathering agency that Sehrai has been shifted to GMC Jammu.
“He was already suffering from many ailments. His health has worsened after his arrest,” he said.
Sehrai was arrested on July 12, 2020 and slapped with Public Safety Act and since then remained in detention at Udhampur jail.
