Father Of SSP Aijaz Bhat Passes Away
Srinagar: Father-in-Law of RTI activist and Kashmir Observer Columnist Raja Muzaffar Bhat, Haji Ghulam Nabi Bhat passed away on Tuesday at Srinagar’s Chest Disease hospital.
Deceased Bhat, a resident of Kanidewar Hawal was retired Divisional Forest Officer (DFO).
The deceased had been declared COVID-19 positive and was suffering from bilateral pneumonia.
The deceased is father of SSP Ajaz Ahmad Bhat and Jammu ad Kashmir Bank officer Ishtiyaq Ahmad Bhat.
The family has urged people not to visit their house for any condolence meeting in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
“I appeal friends and relatives to pray for the departed soul and not visit our Hawal residence for any kind of Taziyat in view of ongoing pandemic situation,” said Bhat.
