Srinagar: Two persons were killed while as four others were injured in different road accidents across Kashmir Valley, a police spokesman said Tuesday.
He said that a Truck bearing registration number JK13B/7292 hit a Scooter bearing registration number JK01E/1088 at Kadlabal Chowk Pampore resulting in the death of a woman identified as 50 year old Haseena wife of Ghulam Mohammad Sofi resident of Kadlebal, Pampore. The incident left Ghulam Mohammad Sofi injured.
Meanwhile, another 55 year old woman identified as Khati Begum resident of Khatipora Tangmarg died after she was hit by a Bus bearing registration number JK02P/8289 at Putikhan, Tarzoo.
In another accident, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02B-2289 rammed into an electric pole at Griaj on NHW, Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to Shaheena daughter of Mohammad Amin and Mehru Nissa wife of Mohammad Amin. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another mishap, a Tipper bearing registration number JK22-0066 hit a motorcycle bearing registration JK11-8486 at Rajpora crossing, Pulwama resulting in injuries to both the motorcyclist and his pillion mate Mohammad Elyass and Mohammad Shafi residents of Manjakote, Rajouri. Both the injured have been shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
