Srinagar – Apprehending trouble on Friday Kashmir University declared a holiday for the day. However university PRO cited a different reason for the decision. He said the holiday was declared in view of the celebrations of the 18th Annual convocation held today.
The University of Kashmir will remain closed on 28th September Friday in view of the 18th Annual Convocation, he said. Convocation was held on Thursday with President of India as chief guest.
The spokesman said all the examinations will be held as per schedule.
