15 Booked For Uploading Anti-Islam Film

Srinagar – J&K police has initiated action against the objectionable and blasphemous film clips uploaded by the title Innocence of Muslims that had surfaced on You Tube. 15 cases have been lodged in different police stations of Kashmir Zone for prompting religious enmity among different groups on ground of religion.

* Budgam case FIR No. 272/2012 under section 153-A, 120-B RPC 66 IT Act. On 12.09.2012,
* Ganderbal case FIR No. 170/2012 under section 153-A, 295-A RPC 66 IT Act. On 12.09.2012,
* Leh case FIR No. 127/2012 under section 153-A, 295-A RPC 67 IT Act. On 20.09.2012,
* Anantnag case FIR No. 294/2012 under section 153-A, 295-A RPC 67 IT Act. On 18.09.2012,
* Shopian case FIR No. 310/2012 under section 153-A, 120-B RPC 66 IT Act. On 18.09.2012,
* Pampore case FIR No. 110/2012 under section 153-A, 295-A RPC 66 IT Act. On 19.09.2012,
* Awantipora case FIR No. 124/2012 under section 153-A, 295-A RPC 66 IT Act. On 19.09.2012,
* Tral case FIR No. 87/2012 under section 153-A, 295-A RPC 66 IT Act. On 19.09.2012,
