SRINAGAR: An 11 year old boy from South Kashmirs Qazigund area was traced after two years from New Delhi and was handed over to his parents in presence of ADC Srinagar at DC office.
Reports said that a sixth class student Tariq Ahmed Shiekh son of Muhammad Akram had gone missing in 2011 from Qazigund area. A CNS report claimed that the boy was traced with the assistance of Child Line an organization which works for the welfare of the children, the boy was traced from New Delhi.
Our Delhi based members brought the boy to Srinagar from New Delhi where he was handed over to his parents in presence of Additional District Development Commissioner Srinagar Shahbaz Ahmed, one of the members of Child Line Javid Ahmed said.
The father of Tariq Ahmed said that he was excited to find his missing son. He however said that police did nothing to trace his son from past two years.
