Srinagar: A man died while as two others were injured in various road mishaps across Kashmir Valley, a police spokesman said here.
He said that Syed Altaf Hussain son of Syed Mohammad Iqbal resident of Laderwan who was injured in a road mishap at Tikker Kupwara on Monday succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Hospital at Soura last evening.
Meanwhile, a passenger Aashiq Nazir son of Zamir Ahmed Itoo resident of Kadipora Pakherpora was injured when he fell from the roof top of a passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK13/2793 at Zadoora, Pulwama. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
In another accident, a Maruti car 800 bearing registration number JK22/4763 and an Alto car bearing registration number JK13B/7457 collided at Shalinar Babapora, Shopian, resulting in injuries to Jabeena daughter of Abdul Aziz Wagay resident of Homhuna Nagbal. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment.
