Srinagar: Two persons were killed while as two others were injured in different road accidents across Kashmir Valley, a police spokesman said Friday.
He said that a Motor cycle bearing registration number JK04A-5337 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Ghulam Mohammad Lotto son of Ali Mohammad resident of Narrspora Budgam near Narraspora, Budgam. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, an En-Field motor cycle bearing registration number Hr51AR5756 driven by V.K Arora resident of Haryana meet with an accident at Chokyal Drass, resulting in the injuries to the rider. He was shifted to 308 Army Hospital Drass where he succumbed to his injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Tata Sumo vehicle bearing registration number JK01Q-6316 driven by an unknown person hit and injured Liyaqat Awan son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din resident of Hariganwan near Snow Land Hotel Sonamarg. The injured was shifted to PHC Sonamarg for treatment where from he was shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another road accident, Mukhtar Ahmad Cheechi son of Qasim Cheechi resident of Waltangoo Nad fell from the roof top of a Sumo vehicle bearing registration number JK02AG/4631 near Waltangoo Nad, Qazigund and got injured. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital Qazigund for treatment where from he was shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for further treatment.
