SRINAGAR: Director Handicrafts, Tariq Hussain Ganai along with senior officers of the Department extensively toured district Baramulla and Kupwara to get first hand appraisal of the functioning of various craft training centres spread across these two districts.
During his visit Director Handicrafts interacted with nearly 200 trainees at various centres including Carpet Training Centre Mirgund, Tapestry Training Centre Baliharan, Carpet Training Centre Hanjiwera, Advanced Ari Training Centre, Pattan, Chain Stich Training Centre Sangrama, Crewel Training Centre Bomai, Sozni Centre Phuropet, Kupwara, Chain Stich Advance Centre, Handwara, Sozni Training Centre, Gugloosa and Stapple Advance Training Centre, Mukam-i-Shahwali Kupwara.
Director asked the functionaries of the training centres to impart quality training at the centres and emphasized on the trainees to follow the training programmes religiously.
