Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth president, Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra, Friday congratulated the candidates from Jammu and Kashmir for cracking the prestigious civil services examination-2014.
In a statement issued here, Parra while addressing a youth meeting at the party headquarters said the youth of Jammu and Kashmir have to come out and change the course of history using every opportunity available to them in the system without any fear.
Para said it was encouraging to see that more and more boys and girls from the state are qualifying the elite civil services examination every year and the trend needs to continue, which would impact the development scenario of the state positively.
And the positive happenings indicate that there is a unique change in the mindset of our youth which is encouraging, he added.
He said the youth who have faced the maximum brunt of turbulent times and have been the main victim of repressive policies of the National Conference (NC), over more than five and a half years, need to be provided fullest opportunities and assistance to harness their potential.
Para said deep urge for a better state is prevailing among our young population and that needs to be tapped in order to build an inclusive system, where everyone will live with their heads high.
There is no dearth of talent in our state and it will be policy of the PDP to create a suitable environment for their growth and development so that they could bring more laurels to the state, he said.
He said our youth, which forms the crucial segment of our society, need to understand their power and help the state grow only then we could make a difference in the lives of common masses. We need to believe in our strengths only then we will be able to establish a dream state, Para said.
