Srinagar: The Srinagar- Jammu highway will remain closed on Friday for traffic in view of the weekly maintenance and repair works, officials said Thursday.
In a statement issued here, the J&K Traffic police announced suspension of vehicular movement on the 270 kilometre-long strategic surface link to carry out maintenance work.
“Tomorrow on 12-03-2021, no vehicular movement shall be allowed from either side on Jammu-Srinagar between Nashree and Jawahar Tunnel in view of maintenance/repairing of the road,” the statement said.
It also added that Mughal road connecting south Kashmir’s Shopian district with Poonch, continues to remain closed due to snow accumulation.
