THIS is to convey our grave concerns with regard to the problems being countenanced by Rehbar e Khel Physical Education Teachers appointed in January 2019 through concerned District wise selection committees designated by the Government in this behalf. The appointment was made by the committees after fulfilling all the codal formalities and after observing Recruitment Rules. It may not be out of place to mention here that almost 2750 number of Rehbar e Khel Teachers are highly qualified having passed PG, M.Phil. and Ph.D. Degrees who were employed under Rehbar E Khel scheme and are facing tremendous problems on account of paltry monthly remuneration. The Government is aware from top to bottom that we are being paid Rs.100 only per day on account of salary which does not suffice our needs and requirements in view of exorbitant expenditures of our age old parents, families and kids especially in these hard and crucial days.
In this regard a delegation of the United Front of Rehbar E Khel Teachers headed by President Mr Sabzar, Gen. Secretary Javid Iqbaland and Mudasir Muzzafer met various Union Ministers including Hon’ble Minister PMO Jenab Dr. Jatinder Singh Ji,who were apprised about the miseries being faced by Rehbar E Khel Teachers in Jammu and Kashmir (UT). All the Hon’ble Ministers have given a patient hearing and have assured the delegation that all the issues shall be resolved at an earliest.
The erstwhile Lt. Governor Jenab Murmu had also constituted a committee at Government level in order to revise the policy in February 2020 but nothing has been heard till date in this regard which too has been a cause of immense difficulties to the highly qualified Rehbar e Khel teachers.
I on behalf of United Front of Rehbar e Khel Teachers request to the concerned authorities through this medium to kindly take immediate steps/ measures with regard to regularisation of services of Rehbar e Khel teachers so that our worries and anxieties are set at rest and also oblige most highly qualified Rehbar e Khel Physical Education Teachers.
