Srinagar- A man and his wife were injured after a leopard attacked them in the Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.
Reports said panic gripped Waderbala village of Zacheldara Rajwar in Handwara after a leopard appeared and attacked the husband-wife duo. Both, Abdul Rashid Mir and his wife Raja Begum, were shifted to district hospital Handwara, according to news agency GNS
A wildlife officer also confirmed the incident and said that men are at work to trap the leopard.
