SRINAGAR: Real Kashmir FC on Tuesday came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw against a formidable Sudeva Delhi FC in the ongoing Hero I-League 2020-21 season at Kalyani Stadium, Kolkata.
Scottish defender Mason Robertson equalized for the Srinagar-based side in the 75th minute of the match, latching on to an assist from defender S. Ralte.
Earlier, the two sides played an even first-half which ended 0-0 at the break. In the second-half Sudeva Delhi played some attacking football and were rewarded with a goal in the 62nd minute, scored by their striker Shaiborlang Kharpan.
Kashmiri-duo of Danish Bhat (striker) and Farhan Ganie (midfielder) played full 90 minutes for the Snow Leopards.
The result takes David Robertson coached Real Kashmir to second place in the I-League table with 5 points from 3 games, which might change depending on other results.
Meanwhile, I-League leaders Churchill Brothers FC, who scored late to beat Punjab FC 1-0, have amassed 7 points from their 3 matches.
Real Kashmir FC will play their next match against Gokulam Kerala FC on Saturday. The game will kick-off at 7 PM IST.
